Perpetual Praise was conceptualized by Nadine Blair, Founder and CEO of Allowed to Shine Ministries which is the parent company for: Perpetual Praise, Praise In Da Street, When Ministers Meet To Pray and Singled Out Singles.

The first Perpetual Praise Event was first held on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at Fellowship Tabernacle on Half Way Tree Road in Kingston, Jamaica. Host Pastor, Rev. Al Miller and the congregation of over 2,000 persons, was joined by hundreds of persons hungry for God.

Perpetual Praise not only hosts their own events, they also minister on various stages: in schools, street corners, church events: conferences, conventions, seminars, banquets/bar-be-cues, weddings and more. The team has provided background vocal support for Kirk Franklin, and shared stage with Donnie McClurkin, Mary Mary among others.

The group goes by the following names: Perpetual Praise, Perpetual Sounds of Praise or PSoP and are celebrating over twenty (22) years of ministry!

PSoP is a transitional group where members traverse from time to time. Members come from various Religious Denominations of Christian Foundation. Several main Jamaican musicians, singers, producers and administrators have served and still continue to provide support for PSoP. These include Kevin Downswell, Jermaine Edwards, Judith Gayle, Kerron Ennis, Prodigal Son, DJ Nicholas, LatoyaHD, Andrea McCurdy, Jai-Kingston, Joseph R; musicians include Othneil Lewis, Wade Johnson, Johnny Clarke, Craig McDonald, Gregory Palmer, Dale Brown & Dale Lowe to name a few.

PSoP has members serving as singers, musicians, sound technicians, worship leaders, prayer team members, event planners and administration.

The team has an EP out bearing three (3) original songs: Singing Your Song, Latter Rain and Send Me.  Other musical works include songs with Kevin Downswell, Jermaine Edwards, Prodigal Son, Kerron Ennis, Sherwin Gardener and Ashaala Shanae.

Perpetual Praise believes in the work of prayer and supporting each other in ministry and daily life. Spiritual guidance comes from Rev Dr Ronald & Evon Blair.
